  • Name: Anti-HLA-G [o1G]
  • Cancer: Blood cancer;Breast cancer;Genitourinary cancer;Skin cancer
  • Research fields: Developmental biology;Immunology
  • Clone: 01G
  • Tool sub type: Primary antibody
  • Class: Monoclonal
  • Molecular weight: The heavy chain is approximately 45 kDa
  • Reactivity: Human
  • Host: Mouse
  • Application: Immunohistochemistry (Frozen), Immunocytochemistry, Flow Cytometry, ELISA, Immunoprecipitation. No western
  • Description: HLA-G has long been assumed a major factor in immune accommodation because of its localized expression and low levels of allelic polymorphism. This MoAb were developed to examine the role of all three nonclassical class I Ags in the maternal immune response during pregnancy. 0lG was developed to react specifically with the membrane form of HLA-G.
  • Isotype: IgG1

Target Details

  • Target: Membrane-bound form of HLA-G (full-length HLA-G1)
  • Molecular weight: The heavy chain is approximately 45 kDa
  • Target background: HLA-G are expressed in the placenta, a membrane form and a soluble form, the latter containing an altered carboxyl terminu. HLA-G belongs to the HLA class I heavy chain paralogues. This class I molecule is a heterodimer consisting of a heavy chain and a light chain (?2 microglobulin). The heavy chain is anchored in the membrane.

Applications

  • Application: Immunohistochemistry (Frozen), Immunocytochemistry, Flow Cytometry, ELISA, Immunoprecipitation. No western
  • Application notes: A good starting concentration for immunohistochemistry (IHC), immunofluorescence (IF), and immunocytochemistry (ICC) when using mouse Ig is 2-5 ug/ml. For western blots, the recommended concentration range of mouse Ig 0.2-0.5 ug/ml. In general, rabbit antibodies demonstrate greater affinity and are used at a magnitude lower Ig concentration for initial testing. The recommended concentrations for rabbit Ig are 0.2-0.5 ug/ml (IF, IHC and ICC) and 20-50 ng/ml (WB)

Handling

  • Storage buffer: PBS, pH 7.4
  • Storage conditions: 4° C do not freeze
  • Shipping conditions: Dry ice
