  • Tool name: ATF2 Deleter Mouse
  • Research fields: Cell biology;Cell signaling and signal transduction;Developmental biology;Genetics;Immunology
  • Tool sub type: Mouse
  • Conditional: No
  • Description: Deletion of ATF2 DNA binding domain. Transcription factor (BZIP-type, AP1-family).
  • Genetic background: Atf2 genomic sequences were isolated by screening a 129/ola mouse cosmid library (RZPD), cloned into pPGKneobpAlox2PGKD, transfected into 129/ola embryonic stem cells. Transgenic animals were produced by blastocyst injection and offspring mice were backcrossed at least six times with C57 Bl/6 mice to produce isogenic lines.
  • Phenotype: Homozygous postnatal lethality, heterozygous normal phenotype
  • Zygosity: Heterozygous
  • Production details: Atf2 genomic sequences were isolated by screening a 129/ola mouse cosmid library (RZPD), cloned into pPGKneobpAlox2PGKD, transfected into 129/ola embryonic stem cells.
