  • Name: Monoclonal antibody anti-Dimethyl K-PhosphoS Histone H3 (H3-2H12)
  • Research fields: Epigenetics and Nuclear signalling
  • Clone: 51TA-2H12
  • Class: Monoclonal
  • Conjugation: Unconjugated
  • Reactivity: Sequence conserved in wide range of species
  • Host: Mouse
  • Application: ELISA, WB, IF, immunoprecipitation
  • Description: Antibody to Dimethyl K-PhosphoS Histone H3. The generated 51TA2H12 clone recognizes S10- or S28-phosphorylated histone H3, but only when doubly modified with H3K9me2 or H3K27me2 (see reference).Specificity: dimethylated (K9)-phosphorylated (S10) histone H3 or dimethylated (K27)- phosphorylated (S28) histone H3. These histone H3 modifications are correlated with mitosis.
  • Immunogen: Ovalbumin conjugated synthetic peptide ASGSSRSKS[dimethyl K]DRKYTL(C) corresponding to aa 180-195 of human TAF10.
  • Isotype: IgG1, K
  • Additional notes: Avoid repeat freezing and thawing cycles. Does not contain any preservative.

Target Details

  • Target: Dimethyl K-PhosphoS Histone H3
  • Target background: Histone H3 is both dimethylated on a lysine and phosphorylated on a serine, a combination of modifications that can have specific effects on chromatin and gene regulation in cancer.

Applications

  • Application: ELISA, WB, IF, immunoprecipitation
  • Application notes: Available as crude ascites fluid; Recommended dilutions: 1/500-1/5000

Handling

  • Storage conditions: -20°C (up to 3 years)
