- Tool name: ATF2 Flox Mouse
- Research fields: Cell biology;Cell signaling and signal transduction;Developmental biology;Genetics;Immunology
- Tool sub type: Mouse
- Model: Conditional KO
- Conditional: Yes
- Description: Conditional knockout of ATF2 DNA binding domain. Transcription factor (BZIP-type, AP1-family)
- Genetic background: Atf2 genomic sequences were isolated by screening a 129/ola mouse cosmid library, cloned into pPGKneobpAlox2PGKDlacZ-pA-neo-loxP, transfected into 129/ola embryonic stem cells and selected for G418 resistance. Transgenic animals were produced by blastocyst injection and offspring mice were backcrossed at least six times with C57 Bl/6 mice to produce isogenic lines.
- Phenotype: Homozygous normal phenotype
- Zygosity: Homozygous
- Production details: Atf2 genomic sequences were isolated by screening a 129/ola mouse cosmid library, cloned into pPGKneobpAlox2PGKDlacZ-pA-neo-loxP, transfected into 129/ola embryonic stem cells and selected for G418 resistance.
