  • Products or characteristics of interest: The cell line is aneuploid human female, with chromosome counts in the triploid to hypertriploid range. Neither of the X chromosomes are normal, but their q arms are detected in a translocation with chromosome N4. Normal chromosomes N1, N4, N13, and N17 are clearly under-represented, while chromosomes N6, N18, and N20 are consistently over-represented with respect to the copy numbers of other normal chromosomes. Eight marker chromosomes are identified: 5p+, t(1pter--->cen::9q12--->9q33::3p21--->3pter), t(1p;?), der(2)t(1;2)(q21;q24), 12p+, der(6)t(6;?)(q21;?), der(4)t(X;4)(q13;q34), del(16)(p13). The cytogenetic and isozyme phenotype descriptors are in accord with those given by J. Fogh.
