  • Name: Monoclonal antibody anti-GSK-3 (GSK-4G)
  • Research fields: Cell signaling and signal transduction
  • Clone: 4G-1E
  • Tool sub type: Primary Antibody
  • Class: Monoclonal
  • Conjugation: Unconjugated
  • Reactivity: Drosophila, should also cross react with all species homologues. Cross-reacts effectively with rat, Sch. Pombe, Dictyostelium
  • Host: Mouse
  • Application: WB, IHC, weak in immunoprecipitation
  • Description: Antibody to glycogen synthase kinase 3, a serine/threonine kinase involved in numerous signaling pathways, including those related to cell proliferation and survival in cancer. The peptide used as immunogen derives from a region of the catalytic domain (between sub-domain VII and VIII) of the Drosophila GSK-3 /shaggy enzyme. Because of the extremely high conservation of this region among the known enzymes of many different species clone 4G-1E, which recognizes the Drosophila enzyme, should cross react with all species homologues (cross-reacts effectively with rat, Sch. Pombe, Dictyostelium*).
  • Immunogen: Synthetic peptide coupled to ovalbumin : (C)K203 QLLHGEPNVSYICSRY219
  • Isotype: IgG1, K
  • Additional notes: Avoid repeat freezing and thawing cycles. Does not contain any preservative.
