  • Name: Anti-hEMILIN2 [hEMIL2]
  • Research fields: Apoptosis and autophagy;Cancer;Cell biology;Cell signaling and signal transduction
  • Tool sub type: Primary antibody
  • Class: Monoclonal
  • Conjugation: Unconjugated
  • Reactivity: Human
  • Host: Mouse
  • Application: ELISA ; IHC ; WB
  • Description: Emilin-2 (Elastin Microfibril Interface Located proteIN) is an extracellular matrix glycoprotein. Is part of a protein family which have been shown to be expressed in smooth muscle and other mesenchymal tissues and is localized at the proximity of elastin and microfibrils. Emilin-2 is larger than Emilin-1 and contains a unique proline-rich domain. It is involved in regulation of the extrinsic apoptotic pathway, by interacting with death receptors DR4 and DR5 and down-modulates the Wnt signalling pathway. EMILIN2 is also involved in the regulation of angiogenesis and elastogenesis
  • Immunogen: Recombinant human Emilin-2 as immunizing antigen; BALB/c mice as host
  • Recommended controls: IgG2b kappa
