Product description: The Gamma2A Jak2 Cell Line has been developed by expressing protein tyrosine kinase JAK2 in a mutant cell line defective in the interferon-gamma signal transduction pathway. By using this cell line, the structural and functional analysis of JAk2 in IFN-gamma signalling has been examined. Production details: The human sarcoma cell line HT 1080 was transfected with a vector encoding a selectable marker (guanine phosphoribosyltransferase) regulated by gamma interferon to create the parent 2C4- gamma 2A cell line. This cell line was then co-transfected with expression construct coding for JAK2.
