Product description: NCH620 is a patient-derived IDH?mutant glioma stem?like cell line derived from the first relapse of an astrocytoma (WHO grade IV). Tumour tissue was obtained from a 28?year?old female patient-deriveduring surgical resection. Analysis of the primary tumour indicated MGMT promoter negativity. The cells are maintained in serum-free culture and grow as free?floating neurospheres.
Production details: Patient-derived cell line established from human tumour tissue obtained during surgical resection and expanded in vitro.
Storage conditions: FCS-free freezing medium (Synth-a-freeze medium)
Growth medium: DMEM/F-12–based serum-free medium supplemented with BIT, GlutaMAX, EGF, and FGF-2.
Subculture routine: Neurospheres are passaged at high cell density by gentle mechanical dissociation. Accutase may be used if required to obtain single-cell suspensions. Cells are reseeded in fresh serum-free medium.
Temperature: 37°C
