  • Tool sub type: Mouse
  • Conditional: No
  • Description: Alanine substitutions of phosphor acceptor sites T51, T53 (equivalent to human T69, T71). Transcription factor (BZIP-type, AP1-family)
  • Genetic background: Atf2 genomic sequences were isolated by screening a 129/ola mouse cosmid library (RZPD), cloned into pPGKneobpAlox2PGKDTA, transfected into 129/ola embryonic stem cells. Transgenic animals were produced by blastocyst injection and offspring mice were backcrossed at least six times with C57 Bl/6 mice to produce isogenic lines.
  • Phenotype: Homozygous postnatal lethality, heterozygous normal phenotype
  • Zygosity: Heterozygous
  • Production details: Atf2 genomic sequences were isolated by screening a 129/ola mouse cosmid library (RZPD), cloned into pPGKneobpAlox2PGKDTA, transfected into 129/ola embryonic stem cells.
