Product description: FLYRD18 is a human HT1080-derived retroviral packaging cell line developed for production of high-titre recombinant retroviral vectors. It produces helper-free vectors designed to resist inactivation by human serum/complement, addressing a key limitation of earlier murine packaging systems. FLYRD18 is suitable for gene transfer and gene therapy research applications where efficient retroviral vector production, human serum resistance and reduced risk of replication-competent retrovirus generation are important.
