Antibody to glycogen synthase kinase 3, a serine/threonine kinase involved in numerous signaling pathways, including those related to cell proliferation and survival in cancer. The peptide used as immunogen derives from a region of the catalytic domain (between sub-domain VII and VIII) of the Drosophila GSK-3 /shaggy enzyme. Because of the extremely high conservation of […]

| Product description: | Antibody to glycogen synthase kinase 3, a serine/threonine kinase involved in numerous signaling pathways, including those related to cell proliferation and survival in cancer. The peptide used as immunogen derives from a region of the catalytic domain (between sub-domain VII and VIII) of the Drosophila GSK-3 /shaggy enzyme. Because of the extremely high conservation of this region among the known enzymes of many different species clone 4G-1E, which recognizes the Drosophila enzyme, should cross react with all species homologues (cross-reacts effectively with rat, Sch. Pombe, Dictyostelium*). |
