Anti-protein argonaute-2 [4F9-5C5]

Protein argonaute-2 plays a role in RNA interference and contains a PAZ and PIWI domain. Ago2, in humans, is responsible for the endonuclease cleavage of targeted mRNA and interacts with GW182 (mRNA binding protein) which is a marker for cytiplasmic foci called GW bodies. This monoclonal antibody may be useful in detecting functional microRNAs.
