| Product description: | The model was created by replacing two exons of the Nfe2l3 gene, comprising sequences coding for the bZIP domain of the transcription factor by neomycin-cytosine deaminase cassette of the targeting vector. 129S6 ES cells were selected by resistance to G418. The targeted cells were injected into C57BL/6J blastocysts. Resultant chimeras were backcrossed for more than 10 generations. Neomycin-cytosine cassette flanked by loxP sites has been removed by breeding to Cre mice (C57BL/6-Tg(Zp3-cre)93Knw/J). Knockout mice have been generated in 129S6, C57BL/6 and FVB backgrounds. |
