Epithelial ovarian cancer cell line derived from solid tumors of patient who was diagnosted with Stage 3 IIIC ovarian high-grade serous adenocarcinoma had received neo-adjuvant chemotherapy of carboplatin/taxol prior to specimen collection in 2006. Cell line exhibited strong sensitivity to carboplatin. Cell line formed in vivo metastases and ascites when injected IP in mice, but did not form SC tumors. This cell line might be useful for studying disease spread at recurrence.
