Cells grow as adherent monolayer cultures under standard culture conditions at 37°C in a humidified incubator with 5% CO2. Medium is replaced twice per week.

Product description:
NCH270 is a patient-derived IDH wildtype glioblastoma cell line established from a primary WHO grade IV tumour resected from a 72 year old male patient. Cells grow as adherent monolayer cultures under standard conditions.
Production details:
Patient-derived cell line established from human tumour tissue obtained during surgical resection and expanded in vitro.
Growth medium:
DMEM (high glucose) supplemented with 10% fetal calf serum (FCS), 1% GlutaMAX, and 1% penicillin/streptomycin.
Subculture routine:
Cells are passaged at sub-confluent densities using 0.05% Trypsin-EDTA. After enzymatic detachment, trypsin is neutralised with serum-containing medium and cells are reseeded into fresh culture vessels. Passage number should be recorded.
