Monoclonal antibody anti GSK-3 (GSK-5G)

Antibody to GSK-3 family of kinases, implicated in various cellular processes and cancer development. The phosphorylated peptide used as immunogen derives from a region of the catalytic domain (between sub-domain VII and VIII) of the Drosophila GSK-3 /shaggy enzyme. Clone 5G-2F was selected to react on the phospho-peptide but not on the non phosphorylated peptide. This antibody will not react on GSK-3 or shaggy proteins expressed in E coli, but will react on the respective natural enzymes or those expressed in Sf9 cells.
