Fibrinogen-like Protein 1 (FLG-1) is secreted liver protein and inhibits antigen-specific T cell activation. FLG-1 binds to lymphocyte-activation gene 3 (LAG3), independent from MHC-Class II. FLG-1 ablation in mice promotes T cell immunity. FLG1 is shown to be highly produced in cancer cells.
