CD16 antigen constitutes the low affinity FC receptor for IgG(FcgRIII) DE 50-65 kDA. It is a membrane glycoprotein anchored via phosphatidyl-inositol or a transmembrane isoform. CD16 is expressed by NK cells, granulocytes and macrophages.
