The antibody detects rat CD11. All peritoneal macrophages and 35% of alveolar macrophages react. The antibody affects the function of complement receptor CR3. It immunoprecipitates 3 polypeptides: 160kDa, 130kDa, 95kDa. The antibody also reacts with granulocytes and dendritic cells.
