Anti-AnxA6 [9E1]

MAb 9E1 significantly decreases invasion in pancreatic, lung squamous and breast cancer cells and silencing of its target antigen, which was revealed as AnxA6, leads to markedly reduced invasive capacity of pancreatic and lung squamous cancer in vitro

Product description: A highly invasive clonal variant of the MDA-MB-435S cell line was used to generate MAb 9E1, which was screened for anti-invasive activity against aggressive cancer cells in vitro.

Target background: Annexin VI belongs to a family of calcium-dependent membrane and phospholipid binding proteins. Although their functions are still not clearly defined, several members of the annexin family have been implicated in membrane-related events along exocytotic and endocytotic pathways. AnxA6 is suggested to be functionally involved in the invasive phenotype of PDAC and lung squamous cancer in vitro.
