As the DLD-1 colorectal adenocarcinoma cell line is known to express c-kit; Western blot analysis was performed to determine binding. 1C8 and 2C11 both bound to the endogenous c-kit protein in DLD-1 cells but not in the c-kit negative cell line BxPc.
